Rental terms
A summary of the terms that apply to every Queen's Rent A Car rental.
1. With-driver trips
Fares include the car, fuel and driver. Local packages include the hours and kilometres shown; extra hours and kilometres are charged at the rates on your booking. Outstation trips are charged per km with a minimum distance per day, plus a daily driver allowance and night charges for driving between 10 pm and 6 am. Time and distance are counted from pickup to drop.
2. Tolls, parking & taxes
Toll charges, parking fees and interstate entry taxes/permits are not included and are added to the final bill at actuals.
3. Driver conduct & passengers
Our drivers follow traffic rules and may refuse unsafe requests. The number of passengers must not exceed the car's seating capacity. No smoking or alcohol in the car.
4. Self-drive eligibility
Self-drive renters must be 21 or older with an original, valid Indian driving licence (LMV) held for at least one year, plus an Aadhaar card. Foreign nationals need a passport, visa, home licence and International Driving Permit. Documents are verified at pickup.
5. Self-drive deposit, fuel & km
A refundable security deposit is collected at pickup and returned within 3–5 working days, less any fuel, toll, challan, cleaning or damage charges. Fuel is not included — return the car with the same fuel level. Each day includes the km allowance shown; extra km are charged per km.
6. Self-drive damage & challans
The renter is responsible for traffic challans issued during the rental (including those received later) and for damage up to the amount determined by the insurer's assessment, and in full where damage results from negligent, drunk or prohibited use.
7. Payment
Nothing is charged online. Pay by UPI, card or cash — to the driver or at pickup. With-driver extras (km, hours, tolls, parking) are settled at the end of the trip.
8. Cancellations
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 12 hours before pickup using the link in your booking email or your account. Later cancellations and no-shows may be charged.
9. Vehicle allocation
Cars are booked by model; in rare cases we may supply a vehicle of the same or a higher category.
